Request the AO to issue notice under section 148.
No, it is a wrong advice, please don't consider it.
You should file an application u/s 119(2)(b) of the I.T. Act, 1961 mentioning the hardship due to which you could not file return timely. Please file this application to your jurisdictional Commissioner of Income Tax.
Online condonation is e verification only.. Offline condonation can't be obtained easily without paying money
Dear, don't give a wrong advice to anyone, if you have not proper knowledge about the same. Since, assessee has failed to file his return timely and date of filing return is over, it is therefore assessee has to make request to the jurisdictional Commissioner of Income Tax for condonation of delay for filling of return for the A.Y. 2021-22.
You don't have practical knowledge..Do you think CIT will give approval simply ?

You don't know about CIT ..Visit once , you will come to know
If assessees claim is genuine, nobody can deny to give him permission under section 119(2)(b) of the act. for filing return, whether it is a PCIT or CCIT.

Further, I want to tell you that now income tax department has totally changed its working, it takes prompt action on the request as well as grievance of the assessee.

I request the admin to block the user of such type who misguides the user by providing vague and baseless advice/ information.
AGREED WITH VINAY KAMAL
Just send the one acceptance if any received from PCIT or CCIT or other approving authority
Deadline is over , you can't file ITR for AY-2021-22 but you may do it with the approval IT Dept
You are directed to please file an application u/s 119(2)(b) to the jurisdictional PCIT mentioning the hardship due to which you couldn't file your return timely. If income tax department don't take any action on your application then contact me.

it seems that your thinking towards income tax department is totally negative which is incorrect. please visit the income tax department and check the reality whether your approach is correct or not.
Share atleast one approval if you have taken..Even if it is masked also fine
You are directed to file an RTI to the CBDT and ask it how many approvals have been granted u/s 119(2)(b) for filing of return for AY 2021-22.

Furthermore, it seems that you are a negative person and your aim is to misguide other person also. I think, you are new in this field and does not know the ABCD of income tax as well as Income Tax Department.
Atleast share one from your side
I have got approval in many cases but I can't show you due to confidentiality of 3rd party. further, it is stated that you are not a authority to whom I will show.

it seems that your knowledge as well as experience about the income tax department is zero and you are trying to become hero.
Please visit the income tax office and file your application for whatsoever matter, you will know whether income tax department takes action on your request or not.
