We are planning to do reservoir construction for our internal use of plant running.
for this we are doing exacavation works
can we avail input on the reservoir excavation works or not

No you cannot .even though the same is being used for Plant but it is cover under the expenses done in regard to Immovable property. So it is block U/s 17(5)
