Auditors appointment

If a auditor is appointment in a casual vacancy. Does this casual vacancy period count for his tenure of re-appointment of 5 years. Meaning in the ensuing AGM if the auditor is re-appointed should it be for 4 or 5 years.

Thanks

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether a period served by an auditor appointed to fill a casual vacancy counts towards their five-year reappointment tenure. The consensus is that a casual vacancy term does not count towards the five-year limit. Therefore, if an auditor is re-appointed at the ensuing AGM, it should be for a full five-year term.

The auditors shall hold upto the next general meeting
