Auditor
AGM held on 15.09.09, an auditor was appointed. the next general meeting was convened on 10.09.10 but stood adjourned. Can the retiring auditor continues to hold the office till the conclusion of the meeting?

Yes, the auditor has to hold the office until the next AGM is held.

Section 224(2)
Yes the auditor can continue to hold the office till the adjourned AGM...at the adjourned AGM the appointment of auditor have to take place........
