Yes it will be helpful for you if you read AAS first..

 definitely..

But don't read all AAS in one shot.

Read Two AAS on daily basis and please understand the concept behind every AAS.

In Audit please read first.

1) Ethics

2) Company Audit

3) Special Audit

4) Audit Reprt

5) Investigation

6) M&O

7) Internal Control

That's how i am doing for PCC.

I think reading AAS's first will help in the understanding of the topic in better manner.
