One of my client is architech designer.
As per 26 AS form his total contract receipts 1614780 and Professional receipts is 1140000 total income 2754780 for financial year 2012-2013.
Does he require audit?

It depends upon how the books of accounts are maintained. If your client is maintaining two sets of books, then the tax audit is not required. Note that 44AB audit and Form 3CD is issued business wise. On the other hand return can be filed from same PAN.
If the client do not have any such seperate books of accounts, then he has to get his accounts audited.
