I run a small catering outfit in Bangalore, which has anual revenue of Rs. 22 lac for the year that ended last March.
Since I was given to understand that we do not require any external audit for such an organisation, we did not perform any audit
However, we are a registered firm and have a valid trade license and VAT number
We are currently fighting a claim with the ESI office regarding some disputed ESI claim
The ESI office has asked us to submit an Audit Certifcatefor our internal financial statements in the correct format
Before approaching an auditor, I wanted to know what would be the correct format for an Audit certificate for an organisation like ours?
Kindly help us with a suitable reply

P.S : We maintain Balance Sheet, Cash FLow Statement and P and L internally in an easily understandable format which may not be as per norms
