Every organisation has its own Set of Book (SoB) and implementation may differ from one company to another becasue business strategies are also different.

First of all, u collect, end user standard operating manual for each set of activities.

Define the parameters within with each individual has to work according to reponsibilities matrix. Rest of things are will come authomatically... if u have some basic ERP knowledge.

First check how financial modules are set up. Check the accounting entries are happening properly as per the standard user guide. For example p2p cycle. The expenditure entries will come not from payables but from inventory. Whether any unauthorized transactions in any modules. GL is the central module to which all the sub ledger entries will come. Whether all the entries are transferred to GL or not. All the subledger entries should tally with GL.
