Basically in Import you need to check the following:

1. The bill against which import is made

2.Appropriate custom Duty has been paid or not

3. Booking of custo duty has been made in books

4. Freight and forwrding charges received, the sevice tax paid has been booked or not

5. Whether the company has appropriate liecense to import the goods

6. If its capital goods date of installation certificate and depreciation charged from that date
