attempts for Ipcc

Hello seniors and friends,

 please help me out from one problem...

one of my friend is doing IPCC and has already give 2 attempts of first group, has got exemption in two subjects...

i want to confirm How many attempts can a person give in IPCC????

and if he drop one attempt (not to give in may 11) then this will be counted in attempts.....
