there's no need to have a specific reason if there is mutual consent between u and ur principal... if not then you would need a strong reason to demand a transfer, but ultimately it depends on the principal's will.

u can take transfer... no reason to be specified.. only form 109 is reqd. to be signed & submitted.

i have a problem.. pls take the time and solve it, i wud b truly grateful..

i m in tybcom and i hav cleared  cpt in feb07 and started training from 30mar07.  in between i hav taken leave for my bcom exams, all inclusive, for around 2 months.

i want to give my pcc in nov08. the rule says that u shud hav completed 15 months AS AN ARTICLED TRAINEE 3 months prior to the exam. now my principal is unware of the rules and says that 15 months shud be net of the leave period. i hav read all the materials provided by the icai, scanned the icai site fully and inquired at the icai office. nowhere am i finding any clarification on this matter. i dont think this netting off is valid coz, in that case no one from my batch can give the exam. pls suggest what shud i do?

also, can i take a trfr in case i get one after my results and complete my excess leave period under some other ca?
