Articleship transfer query
Whether I can take transfer within firm if the principal under which I am registered have retired from the said firm and has joined another firm in the same city? I am willing to register again in previous firm's another partner.

Yes, this is valid reason for transfer, you can take it, visit icai near branch for information, they might say you to take written permission from icai, and that also you will get easily.
but my 1st year of articleship is already complete and new office is situated within 50 kms and in the same city...then what can be done
