Articleship transfer
If the principal doesnt permit for transfer in 1st year of articleship, does that mean an article has absolutely no option even if he/she is getting a much better firm??

There is no restriction on the transfer in the 1st year of articleship,
However, Principal consent is required..
ICAI will not interfere if there is any dispute between the Principal and the Article Assistant..
However, Try to convince your principal, is the only remedy available...
Why has ICAI left its students at the mercy of their principal?
Yeaa even i agree with Akshay.........
Atleast the article should have an option to terminate his articleship and start afresh in a new firm, instead of being opressed everyday... ICAI has rendered us helpless...
Without the permission of our CA cant we change the firm????
