Organizations recognized for Training

Student working as Trainee will be hereinafter referred to as Cost & Management Trainee.  The Cost & Management Trainee shall undergo practical training under

(1) Practicing Cost Accountant or

(2) a firm of Cost Accountants or

(3) in any of the following organizations under a professionally qualified person.

The organizations other than the firms of professionals will be recognized for the purpose of training of the students if its annual turnover is Rs 5 crores or more. The authority under which the training is undertaken is referred to as Principal hereinafter.

1. Central/State Government / Semi-Government / Public Utilities
2. Banks and other Financial Institutions
3. Insurance Company
4. Public Sector Unit
5. Public Limited Company
6. Private Limited Company
7. Information Technology Sector
8. KPO / BPO
9. Stock Exchange
10. Universities, Management Institutes and any other educational institute
11. Limited Liability Partnership Firm
12. Management Consultancy Firms
13. NGO
14. Co-operative societies engaged in Banking, Manufacturing
15. Any other institution as approved by the Council

6. Regulatory compliances
7. Direct Taxation
8. Indirect Taxation
9. Corporate Laws, Industrial Laws, Commercial Laws
10. Systems Analysis, Information Technology (including ERP system)
11. Project Management
12. Banking Operations
13. Insurance
14. Valuation
15. Financial Services
16. Teaching in Finance, Accounts, Costing, Taxation, Management and subjects covered in ICWAI Syllabus (other than visiting faculty)
17. Management Consultancy Services as defined in appendix 6 under Regulation 111 of CWA Regulation, 1959
18. Any other areas approved by the Council

Besides, ur work experience will be considered for membership with ICWAI & not ur CA Articled experience is Strictly not applicable ! besides if u are doing or did CS Articles which is recognized for training by ICSI, SUCH ARTICLESHIP EXPERIENCE SHALL BE INCLUDED AS EXPERIENCE FOR ICWAI  ; PROVIDED SUCH CS ARTICLES HAS BEEN CARRIED WITH  MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS...

I Have first completed 11 month of Articleship without any leave thereafter I have taken termination certificate from my previous Principal and have not registered with other Firm for the Articleship till 1.5 years and then I have again registred with a firm and completed articlship for till today for 7 months and will not take leave upto May, 2011 Exam thus month to be completed upto from February, 2011 to April, 2011 will be 3 months.
As an Articled is entitled to 135 days during articleship and my earned leave will be 3 months thereby total period of completion of articleship wiil arrive to 24 months before appearing to May, 2011 exam. Am i thinking right? Please express ur views.
