I mean is there a clause or anything that requires a CA to inform ICAI when article is absent for more than 3 months?

No such clause as some student get 6 months exam leaves.... Hv u taken leave actually?? Its now June July time... All ca do that with articles extend training for one or two months in last... They didn't sign easily... They usually tell july khatam kar do... September khatam kar do.. Etc ya phr ye assignment khatam kar do tab sign karenge... Negotiate with ur CA

I have no problem with the extension, I just wanted to knw that even after signing my COS for may 18 exam... can he still extend?
bcz the clause in COS reads as "including excess leaves if any, articleship will be completing as on or before 30th april 2018"

Hey ur principal signed first time in November 17 exams... That is for u r serving last 6 months of training... And suppose any student get ill and he can't go entire 6 months then his articleship extended na?? He signed on provisional basis that u r serving last 6 months.... And this term u also filed that ur training is completed by 30th October

no, this term I filed that my training will be completed by 30th april (the clause read this)

Actually what ur CA do now is they didn't extend ur training but they didn't sign ur completion form... They told u that serve 2 month extra after that i will sign u and in that case ur training is completed on 26th April but it will be signed on in July and August... And u can't do anything if they didn't sign ur form... In our office also that practice is followed... They send ur completion form with late fees.... Hope now u understand

I m not talking about late fees, neither he will sign late....after my exams are over on 8th may max by 15th may I will get my form signed and post the same.
