Articleship period calculation for a direct entry student

From date of registration for articleship......
IF any one is not able to clear its grp 1 after completing 9 months of articleship then such period till clearance of grp 1 is included or not
Yes it will be included in it...
But you cant start further articleship until you clear your group 1 exams....
