I am working for a mid-sized firm .I want to switch one of the big4 for better prospects.My principal is denying me transfer .Kindly tell me what steps can be taken with the help of Icai in order to get my transfer done ?

THese days Big4 are not taking anyone, who's articleship is pending.
ICAI will not protect you they only has put our head in the principals Leg.
You can easily find that all the rules made by the institute to convenient for the principal & not for article. Evan i also not received proper reply from the institute. Don't take pange with the principal. Do the work as bonded labour. My friend cleared CA but his principal not signed the completion certificate & institute has not taken any step against the principal.
Take the decision practically.
if you follow all rules & regulations, then it may not be possible for you to take transfer, make some genuine reason ........dats a only way for you
