WITHIN ONE YEAR YOU CAN TAKE TRANSFER WITHOUT ANY GROUND, SO YOU SHULD GO TO INSTITUTE ARTICLE SECTION, YOU WILL GET TRANSFER.

As per my view, you cannot transfer the firm on your wish even in 1st year of articleship. Principal consent is mandatory. Try to convince your Principal. You might have enquired the firm before itself and could have joined. But its too late now. Let others comment.
