Is it possible to enter into big 4 without completing IPCC.. i heard dat they recruit only those students with ipcc both grps cleared...  are there any chances for direct entry students in big 4?? pls clarify...

i dont think so that big4 recruit those students who have yet not completed ipcc level exam.

they generally prefer meritorious students so it is advisable to prepare hard for ipcexam , that can lead u to the big4's

Dear Swetha, As ur In final year u can admit yourself under direct entry for IPCC only after u complete ur exams and results are announced because as of now provisional registration is stopped. If already registered complete your exams do ITT and orientation program And start with Articles. And articleship in big-4 is provided for only those who have cleared IPCC both groups in one attempt. Even I am direct entry student and tried lot to get into big-4 but could not maky it. Wat I suggest u is clear IPCC and then go with big-4

Done with my ITT and orientation already..  I just wanted to start my articleship by april ( before may) so that my CA final attempt will not get delay. il keep my results as awaited in my articleship form.. Can i do that??

MY PERSONAL OPINION & FRIEND'S EXPERIENCE !!!

It would be great if you opt for a mid-size firm instead of joining a Big 4. In mid-size firms, you would be exposed to all aspects of a CA practical training, i.e taxation (direct, indirect, international), auditing, company law, FEMA, etc.. This knowledge would help you in choosing your path after you pass out in Finals. Currently good stipend & nice work culture might lure you to join Big 4, but later you might relent on this decision. I know many of my friends (whom I met in GMCS) from Big 4 who are stuck within the same Dept. for years & are now left with very less option to move out (from Big $) to find a new Career as their experience is restricted to a particular field.
