Guys i have written my IPCC in may 2011. i have decided to pursue my articleship(optimistic about results) in a big firm and get specialisation so is this a good option? if yes then which are the best firms?
currently i'v just applied for BMR & Associates.and looking forward to apply in KPMG also.Kindly help me out with my decision.
If you have given both groups of IPCC and optimistic about your result, then joining big4 is a good option, if you don't want to do own practice after completion of CA. However, if you have thought to go for practice, then joining in a medium-size reputed firms will be better. In Big4 firms, you gets specialisation in one area mostly. If you are looking only for specialisation, then go ahead, and be prepared for the interview, as the interview process at big4's is a bit difficult to crack. Also be prepared to work for long hours. Once your ca final completes, big4 firms may absorb you as a regular employee based on your articles performance.
