I am getting stipend through bank but that account is not my principal's account,
Icai asked me to provide your stipend account statement, but in fact I am not receiving from my principal's firm account, My principal is saying that I'll issue a letter on firm's letterhead by mentioning that you are worked under me. Is icai accepts this as proof for stipend?
Please give me the solution what to do??
Legally:
Take the letter head and keep it in your safe and don't send the same to ICAI.
Send your Bank statement to ICAI.
ICAI requests for further clarifications from your pricipal & The liability in this case is your principal personally. Dont worry your articleship doesnt get struck
Ilegally:
No third party is eligible requesting bank statement, ICAI dont do the same
So, change the Statement PDF mentioning your pricipal account details
FAIR DEAL:
Ask your boss to transfer the monthly stipend as on date and take the print of the sheet only along with your front page copy, and send the same . No issue will be there further. Don't worry
