ARREAR SALARY FOR VALUATION OF PERQUISITE

In such case i.e for the valuation of  rent free accommodation,  salary  is valued on due basis i.e. salary of such previous year should be consider on due basis of which you calculate the perquisites .........NO arrear & advance of any other previous year should be considered. (OTHER THAN PREVIOUS YEAR OF WHICH PERQUISITES ARE CALCULATING).

In above example, you should consider , Rs. 3.00 Lacs + 0.20 Lacs = Rs. 3.20 Lacs should be considered for valuation of perquisites....................
