i think it can be possible

section 139 saya for 5 years appointment subject to ratifiaction

You can appoint auditor for 1 yr provided re-appointment refering to section 139 read with Rule 6 of Manner of Rotation of Auditor.

It is not complusory to appoint auditor for 5yr but maximum 5yr and can be reappointed.

Kindly read section 139 and rules relating to appointment of Auditor

As defined by section 139 of the Companies Act, 2013, auditor of a company in case of a firm needs to be appointed for a term not more than two terms of five consecutive years accordingly auditor's appointment has to be made for a period of five year and the same needs to be ratified by the member of the company.

Accordingly kindly recheck the provision of the Companies Act 2013 for the appointment of auditor of the Company.

Thanks..
