Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the mandatory requirement for Private Limited companies to appoint a Chartered Accountant (CA). It explains that while not directly stated as mandatory to appoint a CA, the legal obligation for a statutory audit, which can only be performed by a CA, makes their appointment essential. The process for appointing the first auditor within 30 days of incorporation by the Board, or via an EGM if the Board fails, is also outlined.

For the companies, it is mandatory to do statutory audit and the audit shall only be done by a CA, So indirectly it is mandatory to appoint a CA.

Thank you so much.

Can you suggest me what kind of procedure and compliance required after incorporation of a Pvt. Ltd co.

As per section 139(6) the first auditor of the company other shall be appointed by the Board within 30 days of Incorporation. In case of Board’s failure, an EGM shall be called within 90 days to appoint the first auditor.

Thank you so much...
