Big 4 audit firms appointment ?

Sir ,
It is said that a body corporate cannot be appointed as statutory auditor
then how a big 4 audit firm (which is a professional company ) is appointed as statutory auditor.
pls explain !!

big 4 ca firms are illegally doing audit via sham india partner firms , no one is doing anything against this practise
