Applying for membership

Don't wait and immediately apply for Membership No. You can apply it in Form No. 2 with required Documents and Fees, same are mentioned in Form 2.

Are you planning to apply just to obtain Membership or even COP? If it is just Membership, then it will be better you apply in the month of April. The fees to be paid is not based on calendar year concept but on financial year basis. Suppose, even if you apply now, it will take close to 2-3 months time for you to obtain membership and by then you will have remit renewal fee for F Y 2013-14. Thus, only if you are planning to take COP, it makes sense to apply now , else apply post closure of this FY.
