Applying for DIN for a foreign national

Valid proof of identity and resident are required to be submitted and attestation authority has been specified in the form and there would not be any change.

I am in process of starting an IT Services Company in Bangalore with one of my Friends (Senior) who is UK National. He is not Indian. He asked me to get information about how to start the company in India (Bangalore). I understand that I need to apply for DIN, TAN, PAN, Company Registration and many other formalities. However, I am not getting starting point to start? I understand that the 1st step is to apply for DIN. We both will be Directors of the company and possibly one of his friends who will invest too. He too is UK national and not an Indian or NRI. Now my question is: Can I apply for DIN with my residential Address and other details and also send them DIN form so that they can fill up and send me back with their ID and Address proof? Do they need to fill up DIN Form 1 and send me back or how will I apply for the same.

Once it is done, what will be the next step? Can we proceed with Company name Registration? Can Comapny name be registered with my Residential address as we did not take any premise yet for company operations. It will be taqkern on lease/ rent once we finish all the formalities, licenses etc and ready to start. Any input will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Mr.Akash first of all  u have to apply for PAN no.of all of u. Then apply for  Din no. after that  take digital signature of any one of u. after this u can proceed to incorporate the co. note that PAN NO. is required for applying DIN NO. U can use your residential address for applying Din .
