Visit the website of NSDL.
Select the PAN card application option for 'New PAN Indian Citizen (Form 49A)'.
Read the detailed instructions provided on the website before filling out the form.
Fill in all the required details on the PAN card application form. Make sure to enter accurate information.

Pay the processing fee online. You can use credit/debit card, demand draft, or net-banking for the payment.
After submitting the Form 49A and making the payment, an acknowledgement slip will be generated. It contains a 15-digit acknowledgement number, which will also be sent to your email ID.
You have two options for further processing:

E-Sign the application using Aadhaar OTP authentication.
Send the application with the required documents to the NSDL PAN office by courier within 15 days of online submission of Form 49A.

If you choose to send the application by courier, make sure to include all the necessary documents as per the instructions provided.
NSDL will process your PAN application after receiving the documents. They will verify the application and documents.
Once the application is verified, NSDL will issue the PAN card within 15 days.
