You can start off with your articleship once you clear group one of IPCC.

Search for good CA firms in your city, send in your resumes to their offices.  If they have vacancy and they shortlist your CV, they will call you up for the interview. After the interview, when you get selected, you can join the firm if you feel you will get good exposure in various areas of professional work being done by the firm.

After joining the firm, buy form 102 and 103 from the institute fill in the same. The same will need signatures of your principal. You will also need to get copies of IPCC marksheet, Orientation and ITT training certificate attested from your principal. All these things should be submitted with ICAI within 30 days of starting your articleship.

i will suggest not go in big firms because in such firms you have to work only on  vouching.... search medium firms where you can learn adjustments and finalisation...

I'm in mumbai. Thankyou Rahul. I will make up my resume & do so. I checked the sites of KPMG & EnY but you have to search jobs as per your field & doing so they do not show any vacancies. So i instead took out the addresses of some firms & i am planning to go about for inquiry. But it'll be too much of work. 

I was also confused of which firms to go for either the big four or other? I would prefer exposure.

Please advise me too so that i can start looking out for some firms. M in hyderabad ..so suggest me accordingly of some good firms
