Applicable tcs tax1% on 31st may bill

Dead Sir I have taken medical service from sterling hospital and discharge on 31 St may and I have done payment on 31 St may now I have come for 1 St checkup in hospital the cashier has taken 1 % of TCS tax from me on my total bill due to emergency case I have to paid it but should I have to paid 1% of TCS tax on my 31st bill also because as I know it is applicable on or after 1 St june??
