Applicable tcs tax1% on 31st may bill

I have taken medical service from sterling hospital and discharge on 31 St may and I have done payment on 31 St may now I have come for 1 St checkup in hospital the cashier has taken 1 % of TCS tax from me on my total bill due to emergency case I have to paid it but should I have to paid 1% of TCS tax on my 31st bill also because as I know it is applicable on or after 1 St june??

Dear Sir,
If you have paid all the dues on 31st May then TCS will not be leviable on that amount.
Only the amount paid on or after 01.06.2016 shall be liable for TCS @ 1% and that even too if total bill amount is more than RS. 200000/-.
