Applicabilty of pf....
I am a contractor and worker.....i participate in tender and rate quoted by me is lowest,,,,and i also declare that if work is awarded to me..work is executed by myself...but accounts division tell me we need provident fund....as a employer how can i give PF code,,,,, please tell me is PF is also applicable for Employer...and i am not a employee...contractor means employer.....pls tell me whats is in the PF act...amendments....

THAN ACCOUNT S DEPT. SAYS RIGHT , BECAUSE YOU ARE DO THEIR CONTRACT WORK AS A CONTRACTOR INSTEAD AN EMPLOYEE.
SO IF YOU LIABLE TO TAKE E.P.F REGISTRATION, YOU SHAOULD APPLY THROUGH YOU FIRM PAN NO.
Yes...i am the firms propretor,,, as well as worker....
