Is service tax chargeable on foreign remittance?
Eg: There is an event managemnt company. It gets its fees from Indian countries. The services, however, is provided in foreign countrie only. Is the amount chargeable to service tax??
If we consider the export of service then in that remittence must be in foreign currency, but in this case amt received in Indian currency.

Service provided in foreign country and receipt of payment for services in foreign exchange both condition should be fulfiled for export of service. No service tax is payable if service is exported.

if your play school is affilated to any state/central board and conduct exams with board, then its exempted , otherwise its subjected to payment of service tax.
I am a freelance recruiter and I am paid recruitment fees by Executive Search Organisations based out of India for hiring people from any part of the world.Do I need to pay service charge for the remitance from abroad which I receive from my clients?

Freelance recruiter service provided by you will be export of service and no service tax on export of service, payment should be receipt in convertable foreign corency.
