Company incorporated on 04/01/2011 has to prepare its first financial statements for the period from 04/01/2011 to 31/03/2012. Whether it should be as per old schedule VI or revised schedule vi.

Revised Schedule VI  will be applicale.

Revised schedule vi applicable

But, when you are filing eForm 23AC and provide the start date of financial year to which balance sheet relates and put the date as 04/01/2011 to 31/03/2012, balance sheet format as per old Schedule VI is being activated and format of revised schedule vi is deactivated. This Notice is appearing under the Notice segment on the homepage of MCA. It says new forms shall be applicable when Financial Year is starting on or after 01-4-2011. Since your FY is starting before this, you can file forms under existing form, as apparently it seems so.

Stopping of Form 23AC and Form 23AC- XBRL for financial year starting on or after 01.04.2011

Please note that existing Form 23AC, Form 23ACA, Form 23AC-XBRL and Form 23ACA-XBRL can not be filed by those companies whose financial year is starting on or after 1.4.2011 as Revised Schedule VI is applicable for such period. New e-forms are undergoing revision to align with the Revised Schedule VI and new forms would be updated shortly.

Kindly take ROC opinion also.

I am also facing the same problem since the first financial year of the company in my case is starting from 08.03.2011. The company has prepared the financial statements as per revised schedule VI, but the new form 23AC and 23ACA does not accept it. What should I do now?
