Applicability of gst for november 2017 final exams

Hi,

My CA Final exams is due in November 2017. For IDT I am not taking any classes.

I want to know that since the proposed roll out date is now 1st July 2017, whether GST is applicable for Nov'17 attempt or not. Or should I continue to study with the existing books in the market covering Custom, ST, Excise & CCr separately..??

GST is not applicable for November 2017 attempt.

GST will be applicable from May 2018 attempt.An official notification in respect of this is hosted on website of ICAI

Yes. GST is not applicable for NOV-17. If u r attempting Grp-2 in NOV-17, try to get exemption in IDT.
