Applicability of excise duty

Excise duty is on manufacuturing. So irrespective of the nature of the transation duty applicable if you remove the goods from factory.

The applicability of Excise is not dependent on the nature of company say that it is wholy owned subsidiary company or not. Excise Duty is applicable only on the manufectured product. for Detail, Please read entry 84 of Indian Constitution.
