According to notification issued on 30th June, 2011 for Iron and steel industry, it is said that that the said notification is applicable to Companies to which Companies ( Cost Accounting Records) Rules, 2011 apply. And the applicability of said rules will be for the Companies who has been ordered by Central Government u/s 233B of Companies Act, 1956.
My query is will this rule apply to an unlisted Public Company which is engaged in manufacturing Of Iron & Steel and have turnover of more than 100 Crores (as CG has not prescribed the Cost Audit for the Company )
Please note auditor has given the certification that Cost Audit is not applicable under section 209 (1)(d) of Companies Act, 1956
