Till now ICAI has not yet notified the applicability since its still a bill and not an act and yet havent recieved assent of president and if it doesnt recieve assent and doesnt become act till 30.4.2013 it will not be applicable to nov exam 13 as only 6 months ammendments prior to exam is aplicable.yes

Thank You for your reply...
But what are the chances of the bill getting passed before 30.04.2013

How should I start my Study for Corporate Law????

In my view the chances are less as der wil be still changes that may be made whic will require time i think till june it may not be passed as act as it was started from 2009 whic took so almost 3 years even to become bill...so in my opinion it will be applicble in may 2014 exam.yes

Do net get worried and after april start ur preparation for corporate law from module+practice manual ..till that time stdyand focus only other subjets whic ur appearing in nov 13.yes

Nisha, don't worry.... till now bill is just passed in loksabha and not in rajyasabha.. In the next session it will passed in the rajyasabha and then sent to the president's approval, which will take time. So don't worry, in any circumtances, it will not applicable for nov 13 exams, even i think that it will not applicable for may 14 exams also..

Thanks a lot Tushar for ur valuable suggestions.....

Nisha dont worry abt companies bill it will not be passed in rajya sabha bcoz bjp will not give favour for the bill ......and topic of co bill has been brought out only for political benefit before elections....so be tension free abt co bill and concentrate on ur studies..........

thank u

regards
