there is a line on first page of form 108 that ARTICLES WERE DULY REGISTERED WITH THE COUNCILE OF ICAI WIDE REG NO -------------------------- OF 200----. YEAR IS ASKED. THIS NUMBER IS ALLOTTED TO ME IN 2005 AS I REG WITH COUNCILE AS STUDENT OF INTER . AND I HAVE REG AS ARTICLE IN 2007. SO I M CONFUSED WHICH YEAR TO WRITE IS IT BEGINING OF ARTICLESHIP 2007 OR ALLOTMENT OF NUMBER 2005? ICAI HELPLINE IS ALSO CONFUSED ON THIS QUEST. HELP ME

I also faced same problem. My CA told me to write 2007, so i have written that, now lets see whether institute accepts it or not...
