Quick Summary
For the financial year 2019-20, registered persons with a turnover exceeding ₹2 Crores are required to file an annual return. Those with a turnover below this threshold have the option to file it, but it is not mandatory. This requirement is based on Notification No. 77/2020-CT.

Dear Aruna,

Those registered persons whose turnover is more than 2 Crores is required to file annual return. Refer Notification No. 77/2020-CT.

Turnover exceeding RS.2 cr is mandatory..and below that is discretionary...
