AMENDMENTS APPLICABLE PCC NOV. 2009....

 it is as it was for June 2009 attempt. No changes in tax slabes i.e

Nil-----upto 1,50,000

10%----1,50,001 to 2,50,000

20%----2,50,001 to 5,00,000

30%----5,00,001 and above

Tax slab rates applicable for June 2009 are

1. Upto 150000                            NIL
2. 150001-300000                       10%
3. 300001-500000                        20%
4. 500000 and above                   30%

Service Tax rate is 12% +2% edu cess+1% higher secondary cess. This comes to12.36%.

Serv tax rate has been changed on 24th FEB 2009. Hence it will be applicable. Can any one get a supplementary study material of ICAI to refer?

Yes it has been changed, I was not aware. The current rate has been changed from 12% to 10%
