Respected members! I have a gst registration in which I do groceries business now I want to add motor oil and lubrication item in this gst registration number.
Can do by amendment in gst registration (Hsn) code or I require to take new gst registration for oil and lubricant business?

You can do it by Amendments in GST Registration (HSN) Code. Add HSN code of same in your existing Registration, if you want to use same GST number for oil and lubrication item business...
If u running both the business then, I hope it's bater to take seperate gst no for each business because groceries & motor oil fully different product u may face problem in future to maintain in one gst no for two different product
