can anybody say me when will the amendment to increase the no. of articled clerks will take place?

The date is yet to be finalised erlier it was to come on 14th Aug. 2007 but due to unknown reasons no clarification is given by ICAI.
Now it may come upto end of this month.

It is expected to come before 31st August. But since approval is pending before Government, GOD known the time to be taken be government to approve.
