Sir, I have a doubt regarding purchase consideratin in realisatin a/c .why purchasing company is debited & realisation a/c is credited for purchase consideration due enty. why purchasing company is debited ?

Bcz purchasing co is our debtor... We have to receive purchase consideration from transferree co.. General rule debit the debtor... In simple words what u r doing in case of sales.. Debit the debtor what u hv to recv... Hope now ur query will resolved
