Are Patient Care Allowance and Nursing Care Allowance given to emplyees by any hospital fully taxable/Partly taxable/exempt in the hands of employees?

Hi Geetanjali, Any Allowances paid to the Employee are taxable, Also i think FBT Would be attracted on the same

Any allowances which is/or not covered under sec 10 are fully taxable in the hands of the employees. further FBT attracts only if the expense in the question is not taxable in the hands of the employee. eg medical reimbursement to an extent of Rs.15000/- is not taxable in the hands of the employee but attracts FBT
