i have recieved allowance of 1200 exempt under section 10 in form 16 from my employer. gross salary is 462580 after alownace 1200 it is 45058.
which is my total income to be filled in income tax e filing

Income to be taken after section 10 exemptions i.e. Rs. 450,580/-
First u have to show it separately as allowance received n then take deduction u/s 10. So net taxable salary is 450580 assuming allowance is 12000
