We have exported goods by air this time instead of by sea, through Fedex. What should be the shipping bill and port code details in GSTR1? The bill number is more than 6 digits and the GST portal is not accepting it. Thank you.

For GSTR-1 export entries, ensure you enter only the numeric portion of the shipping bill (typically 3–15 digits) without special characters. If the system rejects it or you lack the details, you may file the return without the shipping bill number and subsequently add it via the amendment table (Table 9A) once available.
