Please let me Know whether Loan is available for purchase of Agricultutre Land

No loan can be allowed for purchase of land by a person other than a farmer. That too in case of a farmer who alreay owns a piece of land, loan can be allowed by banks for purchase of land maximum up to 2 Ha, if the proposed land is adjoining to his existing one.
