Age proof for CPT

Hey Guys,

I am applying for CPT. The form says that we need to submit SSC/Matriculation marks card/certificate as proof of age. I did my matriculation from state board and they dont put the DOB on the marks card/certi. I have a birth certificate issued by the municipality. I have been trying to call up the local ICAI branch here in bangalore to ask if they would accept it. But those people just wont pick the phone. So I just called up the Ahmedabad office to know about it. The lady who answered the call told me they would accept it, the only thing reqd was that it should be attested. I asked my questions in English and the lady who answered the phone started giving reply in Hindi. So I just doubt is she really knew about the matter.

What do you ppl think ? They would accept birth certificate as proof of age right ??

yes they may accept but its better to give school leaving certificate along with municipal certicate duly attested from the school principal.

THEY WILL ACCEPT IT BUT PLS GIVE MATRICULATION CERTIFICATE TOO.
