Iam a student of final registered long back in 2002. Also i have completed my practical training. I have also completed my CA final group one. Let me know whether i should take up the advanced icitss before appearing for group 2 CA final in may 2018 as per the new syllabus.I have applied to ICAI for conversion to New syllabus. Last time they told as i had completed my articleship i dont require to do the IT training before exams.

Student who have registered in the old scheme and undergone either of the courses, i.e. GMCS or Advanced IT has to undergo only the remaining course i.e. Advance ICITSS (Adv. IT) or Advanced ICITSS (MCS) before applying for membership of the Institute. However, students registered w.e.f. 1st July, 2017 under the new scheme are required to successfully complete Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) during the last two years of Practical Training but before appearing for the Final Examination.

Dear Sir/ Madam

I am Registered under old scheme and appeared CA FINAL in Nov 2017.

I have Completed GMCS -1 In 2014,

Now Should i complete GMCS 2 & Advanced ITT or I have to complete Advanced ICITSS MCS alone is enough ?

I think you have to complete MCS before applying for membership if you are under old Syllabus. Advance ITT iam not sure. It depends on some articlesship date. But under new syllabus you have to complete both to write exam
