As per notification dated 01-07-2010, advance money received against booking of flat attract service tax...
Does the same rule also apply to advance money received against Land???
Pls Clarify this issue....

Construction attracts service tax and so advance revcd against flat booking attracts service tax..
So if u have recvd amount for which you are going to provide services which attracts service tax then you are liable to pay service tax..
if ur doubt is not solved, kindly clarify purpose for which you hav revd amount.

land and building both are different....service tax provision talk about Building (Flats) but not talk about Land....so my doubt is does the same provision also apply to LAND.
